Today, the first memorandum was signed between the Chairman of AETA Elshan Mammadov and Hasan Babazada, the President of the Azerbaijani American Pharmacists Association.

Pharmaceutics is one of the most research-intensive industries in the world and is critical to the success of projects implemented by various public and private institutions. In this regard, it is absolutely necessary to support the potential of the pharmaceutical sciences and industry in Azerbaijan. With this mission, Azerbaijan American Pharmacists Association has been established as an academic society and officially registered as a non-profit charity in State of Pennsylvania, USA. The mission of the Association is to prepare future pharmacists, increase their global competitiveness and to address medication needs and challenges using the latest technological advances in personalized medicine approaches such as biomedicine, cell and gene therapy, and biopharmaceutical engineering. We hope that the Azerbaijani American Pharmacists Association will contribute to ensuring the pharmacists of the future will meet the healthcare needs of our society with greater emphasis on patient care, advancements in technology, increased specialization, greater integration with the healthcare system.
